Well, where do I begin. The loan experience I had, was far above and beyond my expectations. I was not a "slam dunk" client with a credit score of 780, but I knew my credit and work history was good enough to obtain a mortgage. Before I was referred to Academy Mortgage, other lenders cast me aside, didn't return my phone calls and even forgot who I was after completing an initial application. I have no doubt that it was due to the fact that I wasn't a "slam dunk" and they would actually have to put a little time and effort into making my loan work, which they were unwilling to do. Once my business relationship with Karen began, all of that stopped. Karen took the extra time to let me know what steps I needed to take to get an approval for me. It turned out, that there were only a few things on my credit report, that I need to pay off or pay down to get my debt to income ratio in line. I was more than capable to be able to fulfill those obligations, quickly, and before I knew it, I had an approval in my hands. The entire process from start to finish, went as smoothly as it could possibly be. It was painless, prompt and efficient. It's good to know that there are still people like Karen in this world, that are willing to do a little extra work to make someone else's dream possible. There are two types of people, those who are like Karen that put hard work, time and effort into their profession. And those who just want to sit back and let "slam dunks" fall into their lap, so they can get by doing as minimum as possible. People like Karen, will always be the most successful and appreciated in the end. I truly appreciate what she did for me and I will never forget. When it comes time for me to refinance into a 10 or 15 year loan, a few years down the road, I will be coming back to Academy Mortgage, without hesitation. I am a person whose loyalty runs deeper than anything else and those who were loyal to me, get the same respect in return. Maybe next time, I will be a "slam dunk" for Academy Mortgage! Again, thank you for all you have done, you will never know how much I appreciate you.

I worked with Karen Wright during my loan experience. Outside of of meeting Karen for the first time at my closing, she was able to assist me throughout the entire process while i was still deployed overseas! I am very thankful that my realtor, Denise Proffitt referred me to Academy. It still amazes me how we were able to achieve so much remotely thanks to Karen and Denise's great help!
