ONE YEAR UPDATE: I have since asked 2 different mechanics (in addition to the one who passed me) and they both explained that using tape for a repair is fully legal in MA. I stand by my statement that this place wasted my time and money on a non-issue.If you want your state inspection to be failed based off of a cosmetic issue - this is the place to go.I had a small crack on my mirror where tape was used to prevent water ingress. They failed me off of that citing it as a safety concern. (there was not broken glass either)For 5 years my license plate went through inspections. They failed it due to some faded paint (the licences plate was in the same state since almost day one).

This place rocks. It is so rare to find an honest auto repair place. I have been coming here for many years and is now the first place I go for my and my wife's car. This place is a gem.

I’ve been going to this mechanic for almost five years now and there’s no shop I’ve trusted more! They are extremely helpful in explaining everything that’s happening with your car and never force you or pressure you into making a decision based on money, you really feel that their recommendations are coming from a friend who is looking out for you. I live in Lynn and happily make my trip out of the way to have my car worked on in this shop!

NEVER GO THERE FOR INSPECTION STICKER!! They failed my two year old Jeep (never had any problems) - told me I needed two front tires, but don’t worry, we can get them in two days for you! They failed the car, charged me $35 and told me not to worry that once they put the new tires on they would pass it. Scam to get me to buy tires from them. I’m a woman and I think they figured I wouldn’t know any better.I was told by another mechanic in the suburb where I live that this is part of a larger scam happening right now in Boston with inspection stickers.Buyer beware! Go somewhere else for your inspection sticker. These guys should be ashamed of themselves!

I was a 5 hour drive from home when my car started making a horrible noise. Rick got me in right away and thankfully it was only a heat shield. They fixed it right away and I was on my way. Amazing customer service and I highly recommend them!!!
