Overall Feedback:
Would give 0 stars if I could. I have had -0- dollars in my account for several months - this during a time when I was pursuing SSI disability - a process that took 2 years to complete. No big deal - not their fault I was broke - then -I was finally approved for SSI disability and received my first payment on December 31st for 514.After being broke for half a year - that is a huge deal. I started noticing over the last couple days though, that money was disappearing from my account.Turns out that in the last several months, PayPal attempted to charge my account 4.08 on seven occasions. Each time it was "sent back" and the bank charged my account 20 dollars - each time - for non sufficient fees. Throughout this time - despite it being a local bank my whole family has banked at for decades - no one, not even once, gave me a heads up about this. Not one time, did anyone bother. So, suddenly, all at once I am hit with a charge of 140 dollars for insufficient funds. When I called to try to figure out what was going on, I talked to a lady I will politely refer to as the Ice Queen.I strongly encourage everyone to bank elsewhere - preferably with a credit union. I will be closing my account once I manage to switch my SSI deposits over.Frustrated, disappointed - and very much done - with a bank that my great grandfather helped build.
