Where to begin....I am not sure if 0 stars is an option but if it is i should have given it. The first year I filed my taxes with this company ended on a good note, though I must confess only because there was one employee there that actually knew what they were doing (no longer with the company).The following year I had a discrepancy on tax return with RI claiming I owed money that I actually didn't, I asked my "tax people" at Bacon and Company to look into this for me and was met with a lot of push back, and was even told it would just be easier if I sorted it out my self (easier for who?), I take my car to a mechanic when its broken and I should be able to take tax problems to my "tax people" when I have them. Well not at Bacon and Company, they were completely no help and even after they agreed to look into it, they didn't... The amount was deducted from my return and no effort was made by this company to correct the issue. So that sucked but guess what, it doesn't end there!After that bad experience I said to myself "I am done with Bacon and Company!" and found a new tax guy (who actually values me as a client). Little did I know that Bacon and Co had another trick up their sleeve. This year I went to file my tax return and was rejected, as someone had already filed a federal tax return on my behalf (my federal tax identity was stolen). I was shocked, I am extremely careful who I give this sensitive info to and couldn't imagine how this could have happened, well that was until I opened a letter from Bacon and Company this year telling me that their clients information had been compromised (HACKED) and there was a good chance my sensitive information was included in this data breach. Well guess I know now how that super secret information of my ended up in the hands of a criminal. Congratulation Mr. Bacon you got me again!I cannot and will not recommend anyone use this company, there are tax people everywhere that actually value their clients, save your time and frustration and do not use this company!!
