My wife and I have been living here for over a year. We cannot understand the many unfavorable reviews. In our opinions they are unfair and not accurate. First the matter of cleanliness. We have lived in many different apartments over the years and this is easily the cleanest we have ever seen. The floors in the wonderfully complete gym are spotless! There is absolutely no “gym” odor. We use it daily. The comment about odor in the halls is rediculous. The hall carpets are vacuumed daily. We have seen no urine stains from dogs as was claimed by one writer. The service has been excellent, very responsive. Although the service elevator was down for a while when we first moved in, that was owing to damage from the hurricane. Since then it has been fine. There are two other elevators in any case. The apartments are incredible, large walk-in closets, granite countertops, new appliances, and ample cupboard room. Although there are quite a few dogs and we are not dog people, we have had no problems and we have noticed no excess noise or unpleasant animal odors. The sound proofing is wonderful. The pool, grilling, and party area are right next to our patio cabana area, but with the door to the apartment closed, we are undisturbed. The location is perfect. Grocery stores, a bank and two major pharmacies are in easy walking distance. Several great eating places are within a three block radius. Have never had trouble parking. Rents are very reasonable. I think the unfavorable reviews have been written by people who may have been evicted or who are very unrealistic about apartment living. John and Sidnee Fortier, formerly of Madison, Wisconsin.
