The Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce has been tremendously helpful throughout the short time I've been a member, and I look forward to the relationship we will continue to build! Their whole team has been nothing but friendly to me, and it seems as though they're always working on ways to help both their members and the town of Bethel. If you're a business owner in the immediate area - I can't recommend enough going in and at least having a conversation with the staff, you may be surprised how much help the Chamber can offer.

I really wish they hadn’t ever put Frenchman’s hole in their website and I WISH they would take it down. It’s disgusting what’s happening to this place. It used to be a secret, serene spot for locals and now it’s overrun with people from MA, CT, NY and all over the place. It’s crowded and because of that, dangerous to jump off the falls. Even hiking up the river it’s hard to get privacy. I see graffiti on the rocks now, beer cans and trash laying around. People out of state have no respect for this naturally beautiful place. It’s a tourist trap theme park to them and it’s ruining the falls. Frenchman’s needs to be preserved and protected. Seriously, Bethel has a lot of tourist attractions, The Chamber doesn’t need to advertise and pimp out Frenchman’s. Shame on you guys.
