Was a bit worried about visiting her after reading reviews. But i was happily suprised. They have friendly service and was quite fast when i went in. Prices offered on loans are not wonderful but thats the nature of the system.

Do not go anywhere near this place. Buys and loans will actively try to rip you off and having had items in on loans at other Cash Converters stores (Greensborough, Camberwell), I can honestly say that the Elizabeth St stores will offer you the absolute worst rate. The staff try to ram through cash loans and if they say they will take the money out on X date, be sure to have the money in there a few days earlier, because they have no problem will misleading you. The female supervisor in the buys and loans area is arrogant, rude, misleading and just a exceptionally poor example of "customer service". Prices on the items in store are also generally higher it appears than in other storesTL;DR: Even for Cash Converters, the store is the bottom of the barrel. Every aspect is poorly delivered. Avoid at all costs.

The representative on the telephone was so rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. The staff treat the customers as if customers have borrowed the money from staff. They should know that customers are paying highest interest and extra charges to the company for the service. The business should learn how to treat to the customers. There is a massive room for improvement especially in the customer service.

Spoke to Michael to let him know I would be in before 6 to do a loan in which he said "that's fine as long as isn't after 6" so ran from St.Vincents hospital to get there at 5:57 To find doors locked. Called store for home to tell me a blatant lie that he closed the door at 6. There was another gentleman outside as well. Wouldn't open door saying I'm not inside before 6 and had the worst attitude. If he said he could not do it from the beginning I would have accepted that but not to run down there for him to be smug

Wow .. guys if I wanted to buy at near RRP prices for video games and goods I would buy new and get the warranty that comes with it .. i feel like you guys have lost touch in your prices
