I was assaulted by a US Bank employee after a contentious transaction. I was rude and so were the two employees who were involved. I swore at both of them as I was leaving the bank. The male employee ran after me and shoved me with his forearm as I was halfway out the door. The police were called and an investigation is in progress. I was angry, but the male employee had no right to manhandle me. There is a bank on every corner in Elmwood Park. Find another one to do business with.

When I first opened an account with US Bank, several years ago, I had a bad experience and closed it shortly after. The banker that assisted me opened a Savings Account without my consent and in the long run, I ended up paying unnecessary fees. I banked elsewhere for several years until I moved into the area. My daughter opened her first savings account here. I had no plans to open an account but to my surprise, I did. The branch manager did such a great job to build rapport and so I decided to give them another change. I'm happy that I did! The staff is pleasant!!

Only my 2nd time here and both times i had to wait around 30 minutes to see a personal banker. While the other personal bankers were standing around gossiping.

Worker's are nice but unorganized and understaffed. Almost always a wait in line and it's a lucky day when there are two or more tellers working at once. The tellers aren't assertive enough to tell the crazies who want to complain or do complicated transactions to go and wait for a personal banker instead of holding up the whole line of people. As stated, the workers are nice and familiar but the organization is a mess and they are pushovers with customers at the fault of making everyone else wait. There seems to be no sense of urgency in those situations. If you can go to the downtown Oak Park one. It's beautiful and they actually staff the pace.

Its very annoying to wait in line to deposit money on my account for like 15 minutes when there's only one teller serving people and the other guy is just standing there pretending he is doing something....
