The Plainfield branch is usually quite cordial & business professional. We usually don't bank on the weekend, however this Saturday morning a lady whom over applies perfume was not the kindest.

Came in to the branch and spoke with Sam. I explained my situation and let her know that I was looking to consolidate some small debt. I was told that I would get a call back in a day or two at the most. Never did. I had to reach out to the bank several times to see what was going on. Only to find out that I was denied. I have decent credit. Nothing perfect, but nothing horrendous. I am middle ground normal credit. The rep put in for an amount that I DID NOT authorize. Then I had called and asked for a FAR lower amount. That was denied as well... I have credit cards with tremendously higher limits than what I was asking for. This is a horrible credit union to do business with. I just brought you two new customers for loans. The underwriting team I personally think does not care about the customers. Lets just look at the paper and deny. I could have an 800 for a score and they would more than likely deny. Like I said I do not have perfect credit, but my credit falls into the GOOD category.Thanks core plus for wasting my valuable time and offering me a poor experience.
