My daughter cannot have gluten. Not only did the owner work with me to understand exactly what ingredients were used in each of the seasoning options, he custom made a tasty blend that would be safe for her to eat. You can tell these guys take serious pride in their craft. Super friendly, flexible, and TASTY product!

Great service from Vern. Small shop but very clean and great selection of primarily sausages, summer sausage and snack sticks. Large freezer case with many additional choices. Very accomodating... They also do 1/4 and 1/2 beef packages (plan at least a couple months ahead and for late summer/early fall - that's when the local livestock farmers typically go to slaughter for this kind of meat processing). I tried the beef and cheese sticks, jalapeno sticks, standard summer sausage, beef and cheddar summer sausage and pepperoni sausage. All excellent. 2 pounds of sliced summer sausage was gone in about 30 minutes with the ice fishing crew, and those guys have had their share of good, locally produced meats in MN, SD, ND, WI, IL, IA and NE over the last 30-40 years. Said this was in their top 3 for summer sausage.Lastly, got the "Farmers Sausage" to cook up with breakfast. A distinct but not overwhelming maple syrup flavor in that sausage. I liked it, but it may be an acquired taste. Again, not too strong and the sausage itself was flavorful, juicy but not overly fatty. Really good. Highly recommended.
