I can second Jenna Tilstra's review below 110%. Her experience is mine, exactly. Yes, this is a college town, and generally most college students could care less about the hole they live in for a semester, or a few years, but my experience was SO ridiculous I honestly feel its my duty to warn people, on the off-chance they stumble on this review and are looking at a few different properties when they do. Do not rent from Dakota Realty if you can help it, and don't rent a place from Barb Iacino if you do. Find another agent there. If anything goes wrong in the place you rent, and many apartments in that town are pretty old, she will ignore you, lie to you, say what she has to, and generally treat you like garbage once you sign on the dotted line.Like Jenna said, before you sign, when she was showing the apartments...charming...after...I didn't know people could be so cold. The horror show that was my life with that place and everything that went wrong, how it either wasn't fixed promptly, correctly, or if ever, the jokers hired to try and fix things, and most importantly how I was treated by her during it all was just sad. Like Jenna said, I could write a novel. Not gonna go into the details here.I don't write this post thinking it will do anything to them. I'm not trying to hurt their business. They're gonna do fine. This is a college town. Business is going to be there for them from in-discerning college students and others. I needed a place, found a cheap place, and just hoped for the best. What else can you do, right? You could read a review and go elsewhere. By the way, there were news stories run on them a year or so ago as of this post...look it up...I'm not whistling Dixie here. Look elsewhere.
