WARNING: Scam ArtistWhere do I start? I can post the long-winded version of why you should not pay this business OR Shelly Johnson Rufin any money to be your “Expert College Planner” or you can take this review for what it’s worth and message me for any details.All she wants is your 5-star review, that she will never get from me.My daughter did most of the work herself and turns out all help financially a student would/could get is based on PARENTS income and credit, Shelly NEVER disclosed this information. Should we have known, maybe, this was our first child we were putting through college. So, my child got nothing! Well, let me back up and say at the FIFTH hour, when our daughter was already gone, and in her dorm, Shelly mysteriously pulled through a grant of $2400 that DID NOT, I repeat did not even cover the cost of the service she was to have provided our daughter! She’s scam artist and prays on the ignorance of parents wanting to put children through college with little or no debt when all is said and done!!! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! Your child’s high school has all the resources and people in place to guide him/her in the college application and FASFA process. Needless to say, we are not using her services for our son who will be graduating this year, Shelly Rufin and EDFIN Cash for College are not worth time and stress that she is supposed to alleviate!
