I experienced my first trip to a pawn shop this afternoon. I must say, I was quite underwhelmed by the experience. They had a 43 inch LG TV I was quite prepared to purchase. Unfortunately, I spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence - apparently people paying on their loans trump someone waiting to buy - I finally gave up and headed to Best Buy and got a new 4K model for about a hundred dollars more. I may revisit the idea of shopping at a pawn shop down the road, but I will surely try another establishment.
