I want to keep this short as I have wasted allot of time going over issues! plus I want you to read this carefully and in full before you engage in business with EPOSNOWFirstly, we bought 12 Tills and licences of them. we are not a small operator, which with EPOSNOW is a substantial outlay and commitment as they have you with the licences! Sales team oversold the ability of the product, "yes men"they don't understand the technical limitations of their own product. classic example “any tablet will do for EPOSNOW”, not the case! tablets we bought are not compatible! That was an expensive mistake Sales Don’t understand the product periodimplementation and install was not smooth and their only saving grace was the engineers that came to site, (which should be the salesmen). they know what it can do and cant! and what it cant is a long list! Although they couldn’t help with the features needed, there are some odd issues we have had to design our hospitality functions round during install when we disclosed a long list of genuine flaws and features that where not present yet promised. we were then offered a meeting with their new head of development? Never happened 1 year in are the features there? Of course not!As it happens the EPOS system is not best placed for a hospitality business that needs to be able to protect cash and interrogate and audit stocks effectively!other issues include, their own team using personal data to contact members of our team to up sell licence renewals and extra services. I thought Data protection and GDPR was well publicized? Twice they rang a member of my team to sell licences and renewals too that they had have had no formal business contact with. and turning off the licenses to get you attention, the whole system stops workingwe have a long list of improvements that need implementing. none of which warrant the licenses fee as they are the basics any hospitality business needs to effectively operate! And of course, were assured that the system can do this.we are at a point we have 8 windows 10 machines that we are considering wiping and putting other software on subject to an upcoming meeting that may or may not resolve ALL the above.I have encouraged the rest of my team to review this company off the back of an upcoming meeting as they have suffered as much as the business has due to issues from this system, from dealing with customers, stuck on the EPOSNOW tech support line with on call operators who are not at the right level to help, to late nights with reconciliation issues.Thoroughly disappointed, feel ripped off and the damage to our reputation and revenue is somewhat unforgivableRESPONSE TO REPLY FROM EPOS NOWAlice, I appreciate your comments, the void in contact was off the back off all these issues, we were pushing for a meeting. the ball was in your court and EPOSNOW failed to make contact to confirm it. I’m not in the business of running yours! So, I’m not going to waste time keep chasing EPOSNOW for a meeting. Hence the lack of contact.With all the issues documented above I have the email correspondence from the implementation week onwards expressing my concerns of what I got sold and what it can’t do multiple times. Everything I have mentioned and claim you have had the knowledge off for up to a year.In reading further google and Trustpilot reviews, it seems you are still guilty of the same practices and failure on the service. As recent as a few months ago. This is beyond a pattern and illiterates a culture of miss selling, under performing tech, poor customer relations.As we both mentioned I do have a meeting next week. The outcome will dictate how we proceed, on and offline.
