David Leichter is a very capable CPA who always acts in the best interest of his clients. With just a simple email he helped me weed through some very complicated issues that had resulted in us inadvertently owing thousands of dollars in taxes before we reached out to him for guidance. He was also helpful in connecting us with a tax person when we moved out of the US and needed someone with international tax experience. I would recommend David to anyone!

David inspires confidence. He is responsive, answering emails and phone calls within minutes, and he is thorough. He leaves no stone unturned. I had a very complex tax situation - with a move, honoraria from multiple states, rental property, and other factors. David was actually excited by the challenge and dove in as though it were a fun hobby. He is professional, helpful, organized, explains things clearly, and because it is a small firm, you get personalized attention. In the past, I have used H&R Block or just did my taxes myself online and I ended up advising the H&R guy about a DC homebuyers credit that he didn't know about. I will rely on David from now on!

I needed assistance with figuring out my tax withholdings and reached out to Mr. Leitcher. Although it was a holiday weekend, he was extremely responsive and reached out to me by email and phone. After briefly providing some household details, Mr. Leitcher provided his recommendations. His aim was clearly to assist as much as possible versus monetary gain. He is knowledgeable and trustworthy, and I would definitely recommend him to others seeking tax assistance.
