I went to magnolia point to play a round of golf and made it to hole 4 when it started to downpour. I paid the outrageous amount for 18 holes on a golf coarse that is really under par. (No pun intended) bare spots on greens make it almost impossible to put. Weeds standing between 6-12 inches tall scattered through all fairways and to top it off they refused to give me a rain check. I went back in the club house and was told that I had not paid for a round of golf. Unfortunately I used cash and was not given a receipt. So if it said I didn’t pay for my round of golf who’s pocket did my nearly 40$ go in. I’ve contacted an attorney but it would cost more than 40$ to do something about it. I highly suggest staying away from magnolia point. This golf coarse is horrid and so are the employees. I seriously feel my payment for the round of golf was stuck in someone’s pocket and they refuse to do anything about it. With eagle harbor and Fleming golf courses right down the street I can’t see why anyone would WASTE their money to golf here. I’m not a disgruntled person by any means but this was a complete slap in the face. I truly wonder how many times someone’s money has went into someone’s pocket and not the register. This place is disgraceful and highly overpriced. I could build a never green and fairway in my yard. We can talk about the tee boxes but that was an ever bigger joke. It was like teeing off from the rough. I hope something gets done about the way they are running the show. Kinda seems like it’s getting ran by crooks.

The course is horrible, they need to take care of the greens and the driving range is like your hitting out of sand. The course needs to be fixed up. If you like playing on dirt, un kept fairways and garbage greens then the course is right for you 👍

Kudos to Magnolia Point for a great Memorial Day celebration. The staff was on top of everything. It's a shame someone called our GM racist because some black kids who do not live here were asked to leave. Other people were not asked because they were recognized as being members and or residents of the community. This is not a public pool.

The staff at Magnolia Point Country Club outdid theirselves today. Thank you all for being on point and taking care of me, my family, and friends. What a great day!!!

I'm incredibly disappointed to have witnessed what I did at the Mag Point pool today. I was visiting with my sister (who lives in the neighborhood) and we had the displeasure of sitting near a group of rowdy, rude, disruptive white people (the color of their skin in important, unfortunately). They were screaming profanities and yelling about d**k size and sex and all sorts of inappropriate things in front of all the people (including several young children) at the pool. Pouring beer and alcohol in the pool, just being overall really rude and inconsiderate to everyone there trying to relax with family. A family with a small child left and they said "sorry, we're navy/army." That's not an excuse for being rude.A few hours later, a group of maybe 6 black men came to the pool. They were swimming, relaxing, and enjoying themselves at a low volume. Literally minding their own business and enjoying the pool like we wished this other group sitting next to us would do. About 15 minutes after they arrived, the GM walked out and asked if they lived there. They said no, but they went through the front gate, told the gate guard where they were going, and were given a pass. The GM said that they had to leave since they didn't live in the community. They said okay, but was everyone else asked at the pool if they were residents as well (I was in earshot of this conversation and saw the whole thing go down), because it seemed odd that they had just arrived and were being told that a "random check" was happening. The GM told them that they had already asked all the other pool goers if they were residents (THEY HAD NOT). I was not asked if I was a resident of the neighborhood. He said something about residents cracking down on unauthorized people being at the pool and told them all to leave. Yet this other group of horrible and disruptive people were allowed to stay. We left IMMEDIATELY and walked with the boys to their car, where we talked about how awful the experience was. They were literally so confused, as this wasn't their first time at the pool (their friend lives in the community and has been told as long as you name the person you're visiting it's okay). We won't be coming back. I'll be telling everyone I know about this. This was DISGUSTING and the GM should be ashamed. Can you please explain why no one else at the pool was asked for proof of residency, and only the newly arrived black men?
