My husband and I own a construction company and we chose Merchant One to use so that our customers had another option other than cash or check for payment. We had some major issues with the third party that Merchant One uses - World Pay. In short, World Pay put holds on three of our payments that we had already done work for, equalling about $9,000. They threatened to hold the money for 3 months and I also received a letter in the mail threatening to hold it for 6 months and later they claimed to have reimbursed the money to our customer but they never really did. We struggled to get answers, we often struggled to even speak to someone concerning this matter. Marc from Merchant One ended up contacting us and did whatever he could do to help us get our money. We won't be using this company anymore because of what we had to go through but I do have to give Marc credit for helping us through everything. When we first started working with Merchant One Roberte was very helpful and patient with any questions I had. I will say that I strongly suggest Merchant One hire a new third party. If they did this I might consider using their services again because it seems as though that's where all the problems lie. I would give a 5 start review just for Marc's help but I can't give 5 stars for the overall experience.
