I would caution anyone to stay away from Midwest. The salesman is very nice but that is all they have. They are the highest price in the industry. The previous owner of my business had over $10,000 into a system. When I took over they wanted $290 a month for support. They wouldn't budge at all. I would love for the owner to call me so I can explain everything that happened. Also good luck talking to anyone when you call.

We were considering Midwest POS and NCR for our point of sale needs at our new location. We had received an initial estimate from Kaylee which was somewhere in the $3-5000 range. Started looking at other options just to have something to compare to, and all of our quotes were significantly lower for better hardware and software, yet we still hadn't made a decision. Yesterday the decision was made for me, when the actual quote I was given was for $10,000, which is three to five times higher than every other quote I had received, and Kaylee was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. I can't imagine paying $10,000 for out of date software and hardware, but especially not with that sort of standard of service.

It saddens me to write this but we have been working with Midwest to put a new system in our stores and we where given a proposal to give them 50% down to start putting our system in. We went to do this and then they changed the deal and said they needed all of the money up front I said that is no problem however we need an agreement that if they do not deliver we would be paid $500 a day back till the problems are fixed or till we received our money back in full. They said no problem they would sign something like this. We had it drafted up and sent over also offered to change the dollar amount or dates to make sure that it would fit all parties involved. The owner then reneged on this again. It is fortunate that this happened before giving them thousands of dollars as it looks as if they break promises multiple times before the deal is done. I urge anyone looking at new POS systems that they do there homework and hold people accountable.Update 1/20/2018:We have gotten our Counterpoint POS software from another vendor and it is great. We are glad that we went with counterpoint pos and are enjoying the outcome so far. It is to bad that Midwest could not follow through.

Worst company ever, especially (Dave White) driving the company vehicle with license plate MWPOS3 He is rude, driving the wrong direction in a parking lot to cut me off for a parking space. Then gets out and laughs about it. Not professional at all. I would steer clear of this company if this is how they are going to act.

Nothing but issues from Midwest, aloha and NCR in general. They refuse to help you if your system came with the building and want you to pay ungodly amounts for quick fixes to small issues. Was told by sales guy he would come help me set up my menu, but never showed. They refuse to give me upgrades because of my internet. They said I couldn't process credit cards because of my internet, but haven't had a single issue doing it so far... just a terrible company.
