I was in to buy an item I had been doing research on over a few weeks, had no trouble with the counter staff whatsoever. They were very friendly and receptive. I went in Saturday June 2nd, 2018, to buy the item referenced and noticed a firearm for a great price. I attempted to buy both items, went through and passed a background check for the firearm, and payed $1377 for both. When going through a supervisory verification, the supervisor on duty told me they could not sell me the gun, and that it was on layaway previously. So here’s the question, why was it on the shelf? I’ve bought and put a few guns on layaway at other stores of this franchise and they put the layawayed item in the back. So I wanted to buy the original item and I was told they could only do a full refund (which the clerk added would take until the following Monday) and so after they refunded me in full (which won’t show until a few days later) they asked to charge my card for the scope again. I decided against it and left frustrated.
