Dismal experience & lesson learned. If you find yourself in a pinch, please, for the love of all things Holy, do NOT turn over the title to your expensive asset to these predators. I did, I had medical payments nearly overdue and only because I knew I would be able to pay it off quickly-in a few weeks, not stretched over 7 months, with exorbitant interest rates that make credit cards look like sound financial sense. First, the paperwork is lengthy, requiring almost the same amount of info if I was applying for a loan at a bank. References, employment, the whole Magillah. On my $850 loan, the twice a month payments totaled $2625. Do the math and you see I would've paid back over triple the amount borrowed if I hadn't paid it off sooner. You have to wonder how they manage to get around basic consumer usury rules & regulations. And as far as this particular place, the constant "courtesy reminder" calls & texts became annoying. Additionally, they close for an hour each day for lunch. Who are these people, doctors? Unfortunately, doctors are the next requirement since the pressure to make these payments & anxiety over losing one's car can make you sick.
