IF YOU RESPECT YOURSELF AND DONT WANT TO FEEL BELITTLED DONT OPEN AN ACCOUNT AT THIS CREDIT UNION. Im not allowed to give no stars, so 1 is the lowest possible here. I ignored previous reviews assuming that person experience might have been for that day. I never give low scores cuz usually I find good in all situations. So my partner and I recently moved here from east coast. We are in process of purchasing a home so we decided not to lease apartment so we wouldn't have to break it, so we did weekly rate apartment. Our home buying counselor suggested we open a new joint account since partner currently had none and he is the one with income. Her opinion was to open account at credit union. I have several accounts with another larger bank. 1st attempt- lady at credit union told us we needed pay stub to verify income and address and needed $25 to open account.2nd attempt- came back after we ran home for pay stubs that same day about 20mins later. She input our info and then issue was with check system stating partner had bad standing with old account. We had called few days prior his old bank to ensure all was fine. They said his accounts was closed and no money due. Lady at credit union said if we get letter from bank to prove issue was resolved then we would be ok to open account.3rd attempt- Partner got letter from larger bank which came after 4 days. He went alone to open account with pay stubs, resolved account letter and $25. Same lady at credit union says new issue is that we live in weekly rental so we cant get an account here.
