Not accustomed to being called derogatory names while walking down any street. Although a fan of hot springs, I'm not a fan of ignorant rednecks! FYI big difference between Pagosa Springs and Durango. Next visit to Colorado will be back to Durango.

If you are just passing through Pagosa Springs and aren't looking for one of the natural springs spas, the chamber of commerce building and grounds is a nice stop- there is a picnic area on the river bank and clean bathrooms so it's a great picnic lunch spot with access to the water if you want to soak your feet in the springs for a few minutes.
