Client Review on PNC Merchant Services
Feedback:
Pnc bank preys on accounts with overdraft fee's and places them above all other priorities in their dealings with customers. Knowing I had 3 charges coming out of my account totaling $400 and the balance would drop below $0, I proactively deposited $4000 the same day. The three negative charges were pending on the same day the deposit was pending, all 4 items cleared the next day, and still they charged me 3 overdraft fee's of $36 a piece. After calling they told me this was a user error and there would be no refunds. The month before I was charged $30 for a stop payment on a merchant that would not update my billing information from the bank account to my credit card. The only way to get the billing department from this 3rd party merchant to call me, to update the payment method, was by cutting off the funding so they would have to ask for a new payment type. The bank recommended I either pay the $30 stop payment fee or close my account to stop the incompetent merchant from continuing. This bank is the worst bank I have ever had. Banks spend all this money marketing to small business owners and when we open an account they cheat you with fee's, all the policy makers should be terminated before they drive this bank further into the dirt. Everyone making policy decisions at PNC has no business sense. I would expect a used car lot to try to cheat people over little fee's but this is shame for a nationally branded bank. I guarantee that if I ran my small business like they run their bank, I wouldn't have any need for a business bank account because I would be broke and living in a box.
