I see a lot of bad reviews, so perhaps things have changed since I last did business there, but my personal experience was not bad. I had a financial emergency, and needed a quick loan. I had never pawned anything in my life up until that point, and getting a loan through a pawn shop was the last thing I wanted to do, because I have heard horror stories about pawn loans, and how they can be sneaky and conniving. I hadn't heard those things about this particular pawn shop, but just pawn shops in general. Unfortunately at that time, I was in a situation in which I really had no other choice. I brought in some items, and they asked me how much I needed. I told them the amount I needed, and there were no questions asked. I was given the exact amount I asked for. They told me exactly what I needed to do to ensure my items stayed in pawn. I faithfully paid the minimum monthly balance (to the best of my recollection, it was on a monthly basis) until I got back on my feet and was able to pay the entire loan off. I walked in with the money and my pawn ticket, and told them I was ready to repay the loan in full, and get my items back. Again, no questions asked. No games, no excuses. My property was returned, and it was in the exact same condition it was in when I left it there. I had no problems at all with the employees or the services. I hope I am never in such a situation again, but God forbid, if I do have another emergency and no other alternatives, I would do business with them again. They were fair and honest with me.
