Shady business practices, putting large transactions on hold permanently etc.. Plus they do not follow PCI compliance at all. I was desperate and accepted employment there when I shouldn't have. So I know.

This is the only credit card processing company I know of that has a 4 year contract/agreement. Their platform is not as user friendly and I have been using other credit card processors (Square, Sage/Cash Practice, Authorize.net, Key Bank) for many years. I used them upon the recommendation of the Washington State Chiropractic Association. They do NOT have lower interest rates, do NOT have immediate customer service and will charge you a $395 cancellation fee. Other credit card processors do not charge a cancellation fee!

Worst Mistake of my Credit Card Processing decision. First they promised me lower rates than I was paying with square and paypal. I said ok. They took so long to get me equipment that they missed my busy season. Then they started charging me more than the contract. After complaining they they refunded me money. Then after two months they jacked the rate up higher than I ever paid previously, or contracted to pay. When I said I do not want their service anymore they said ok pay us $600 or go to court.

Garbage Service !! After getting all our company information they denied our service, we feel because it was racial profiling. We got a great new merchant glad they did that!! BE CAREFUL DON'T GIVE INFO THEY KEEP IT.

BEWARE - They freeze your account for no reason at all. Then they hold it for months while they earn interest. These guys have no reason to do what they do. And their customer service is terrible. Your put on hold for like 10 minutes then goes to voicemail. No one knows whats going on when you finally talk to a human. They make up the rules as they go along. this company is a SCAM and should not be a company at all. I have never dealt with such a crappy company in my whole business life. Stay away or they may screw you too. Negative 5,000 stars. You guys are fraudsters!

I had been using their credit card processing for our business since 2012. They used to have a local rep and be reliable and reachable, but in recent months many transactions would not process correctly, constant errors on their website. I was no longer under contract, I asked to terminate services and they wanted to hit me with "early termination fees" of almost $400 even though I was NOT UNDER CONTRACT! I took MONTHS to get them to terminate my services, finally I contacted my bank to put stop payments on them, then they sent me to collections even though I had written proof that we owed nothing! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY ARE CROOKED. James Dodson and Kelly Shanahan are CROOKS that will try to steal your money if you try to dare leave their services. UPDATE 21JUL2017 - I have received a refund in full of the amounts charged to our account after the termination was completed. Prolific has also refunded my early termination fee in full.

My experience with Prolific has been very positive the 7 years we have been with them for our credit card processing. Their merchant rate fees are fair and their system is very reliable. My rep has always gone out of his way to try and save us money and to be sure we have the best processing experience.
