I have a daughter and grandson that live in redwing and are being abused mentally and physically.my daughter has had a long history of this and with help from us the parents and with the proper meds.she is been able to forge a decent life for her and her son.All of that is.being taken from them by a abusive husband Who has a long history of this and other violent acts so we my wife and myself naturally had concerns so when we seen this starting to go on we tried to talk to them and was met with a lot of resistance especially by the husband.we could see that our daughter was not right believe me we lived with this most of our lives and we know the signs . We asked the husband if she was taking her meds when she is supposed.without her medication she can be easily manipulated into unhealthy situations for her and her son.so the answer we got from the husband was this is my family now and I will make them decisions now.we could not believe what we were hearing.we tried for several weeks to contact our daughter but the husband would not let us talk to her or our grandson.so what the husband did was manipulate her into taking out a order of protection against us wich is 100%lies. she was manipulated into lying.to police which I thought was against the law apparently not so in redwing. They had absolutely no proof at the hearing and apparently you do not need that either. So we have absolutely no say in our daughter or our grandsons life anymore. She was recently hospitalized for mental physical abuse and we cannot be told where she is.this man has done so much damage to.this family it is beyond belief. When we try to find out things that are harmful we are told to stay away or we will be arrested. This is so wrong for her and her son.this abuser is being protected by law enforcement and the criminal juctice system far to long his criminal record shows this. He continues to be empowered almost on a daily basis.maybe you're orders of protection should say that you can lie to police and no you do not need proof.the. biggest loser In this is our grandson he is being so damaged by this mentally and we voice our concern we are completely shut out we raised our grandson from the day he was born because his father deserted him.we had absolutely a beautiful healthy loving relationship'and now that is been taken away.!,
