I wish I could give a rave review to a local company but that would be a disservice to anyone looking for a POS system. Absolutely horrible support. They are guessing through the whole conversation and most of the time it is spent convincing them about your issue. Their standard response is, they system does not do that. Something as simple as asking for a report showing the history of a product is difficult. When I asked the support person how can I tell when this product was sold and I was told " If you know when you got the product in, keep changing the date on the report day by day and when your inventory drops by 1 on that item, you know you sold it that day.... I thought he was kidding, he wasn't. Running a business is hard enough, if you go with Revel you are making it 100 times more difficult. My caller ID when they call now is "scam". I wish i knew that before. Their financing help, Aldo is not help at all either. promised products that never arrived and training that was never taught.

Terrible customer service. Absolutely no help. Ipad will not update. No swivel screen for customers to sign. The back of house is fairly easy to use, but customer service is absolutely the worst I have seen in years.Sales person quit at the end of our transaction and my sale was lost in the shuffle, I received the wrong credit card swipe. I have been trying to see the best of the situation, but unfortunately I do not see it turning around.

I was conducting a review of available POS solutions and was duped into a "free" 30 day trial. The sales representative told me they needed my credit card information to validate and setup the trial account. I should have known. Even before the "free" 30 day trial was up they charged my account. Naturally I was upset and called the rep and canceled. Low and behold not only did I not receive credit for the first unauthorized charge but they dinged my card again! Calls to their mindless billing department and customer relations department has proven futile and I had to open a dispute at my bank as well as cancel the card. This is a company in the POS and CCP business and they can't be trusted with credit card information... Absurd! Based on experience I suggest you AVOID REVEL. There are much better POS systems out there with companies who manage a legitimate service and support team

I'm not sure if this is the actual listing for Revel... but in response to the reviewer who gave 1-star, I've had a different experience... their online support system is immediate and responds in seconds... they respond to their Facebook page in minutes... they answer the phone immediately. The company has $200 million in backing and could be considered a local Valley company as 200 of their 250 employees work here...

Revel Systems is extremely hard to get in contact with. I am the Service Manager for Salut Kitchen Bar in Tempe, and I have been attempting contact for the last month. No response to multiple emails and no direct contact info to our Revel Rep.
