My son has an account with this credit union. In July, he left for bootcamp at Parris Island to become a Marine. He was there into October. They are not allowed phones, internet or contact with the outside world. Then off to Camp Geiger in North Carolina until December 21st. Upon finally returning home for the holidays, he caught up on emails. One was about suspicious activity on his account. He contacted you..was put in touch with the person who handles fraud. Some entity had systematically using different URLs drained his account of $700 from the July to October timeframe. Your fraud department will now only reimburse him $160 of it due to a time limit of 60 days because that is "policy ". That is horrendous. This young man is a Marine. He trusted you with his account. You clearly knew this was happening. What are you doing to correct this? Have you been in touch with law enforcement to further investigate? Reported this? Because telling my son your "policy" is pretty lame and does not inspire any confidence in how you protect your members.
