I bought a truck from Portsmouth Toyota and financed through Service Credit Union. I never received any information on my account from Service Credit Union, I tried calling to set up an online account to access the loan, and they couldn't provide me with my account number despite me giving them my social. I bank with USAA and they are light years ahead of Service Credit Union.

I couldn't say more good things about SCU. I first financed my 2015 HD Road Glide from a dealership in MA. I had never even heard of SCU. Now since then I have bought a 2017 Road Glide and a 2019 Road Glide and all 3 are through Service Credit Union. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the staff both on the phone and in person at multiple branches. Seacoast Harley Davidson is great about making sure we (the customers) know what a great option SCU is.

Some things have gone by the wayside, and even though some things have changed - James Daley definitely went above and beyond to help me out. Although, this was after a long hold turned into a blind transfer - that's alright - he was on it and even helped me out after the call was over when I had a follow up e-mail.I will give 5 stars because overall - SCU is really good. I have had some rough interactions as of late - I think general idea of businesses easily saying "no" (with little eagerness to help) is the culprit - just remember who the customer is and who keeps you afloat - and it'll be alright! ( <> .. <> ).

By far the worst credit union I have ever had the displeasure of working with! The customer service sucks. The reps on the phone are always rude and condescending toward those customers who need to make payment arrangements, as if they themselves are in any position to talk with their lousy dead-end desk jobs. I'm glad I never have to deal with SCU ever again.

The bill pay with this Credit Union SUCKS. they have missed making a payment 2 times and have NO reason or explanation as to WHY it's being missed. The confirmed the delivery address and it was correct as imputed, they even called the payee and confirmed it as well. I'm ready to cancel my ENTIRE account and go somewhere else. they will miss my over $200k, or maybe not.
