My husband and I used Syracuse Securities to obtain our mortgage when we bought our first home. The process was seamless and they couldn’t have been more helpful during the process. Their team of Loan Officers and staff helped us to find the right type of mortgage for our needs. We will definitely be returning when its time for our next house!

We worked with eric at syracuse securities and he made the process very easy for us, he always answered the phone, or got back to us immediately he was really helpful and you could tell that he was very passionate about his job and really wanted to help us. I would recommend using syracuse securities as your mortgage company.

I had to call three times just to get them to look at my application. Then I had to call another three times to get them to follow through with the application. Carol is the women they had set me up to work with. Well when ever I called she was either on lunch, or on an appointment, or I would get her assistant Kim, who would send me to her voicemail. This was pointless because neither of them ever called me back. Finally after the last phone call I was able to get them to do an inquiry on my credit, (which effects your credit score) and they did a hard inquiry twice! Just to not call me back about it. Save your time and your credit score and just go to Empower. At least the people at Empower want to help you. At least they’ll call you back.

Terrible customer service skills, and the girl my fiancé and I worked with was very rude! Glad we were recommend a different mortgage broker at a different company because we probably wouldn't have a house today.We were very unhappy and ready to give up looking at houses after dealing with a women who works at this company.

I obtained an FHA 203K loan from SSI. Heather C was my loan officer and she was great. Mary S who managed my loan was curt and not entirely pleasant to deal with but she got the job done. It seemed to me every time SSI said I was done or that I needed one more thing, they would need something else. I played a lot of wait-and-see. It was painfully slow. Heather felt my pain. I would not recommend using this company for a home loan.
