Was referred to them. Loan officer was very cold. For a non-profit that boasts focus on helping small businesses, I found my experience with them to be very impersonal. No empathy. Just a checklist that drove whether I was worth talking to, and no exploring of how they can help or resources I could leverage. Extremely disappointed.

I got an SBA loan through CDC and they were great to work with. Really helpful, answered all of our questions and were able to turn it around relatively quickly. Would definitely recommend them.

Complete rip off artists!! Especially if you are not familiar with interest rates and penalties. These clowns will sink your business by burying you in debt and even you try to refinance they have penalties everywhere. Do you want your business in a choke hold of debt and have to file bankruptcy? Then call these a-holes!!

I recommend ANY other financing alternative. When we filed a complaint with the Office of the Inspector General they told us that 82% off all SBA loans were being investigated for fraud - the OIG does not have the man power to handle this many fraudulent loans -that is what the Los Angeles office told us. The CDC and associated brokers will lie cheat and steal in there effort to get a piece of the pie. You are putting your entire life, business and your employees lives in danger by engaging the SBA or CDC. Google SBA loan fraud - there is a reason for what you will see - the SBA and CDC will lie and cheat - but in the end you will pay. Seek private financing - you will avoid all of the fraud and associated with the SBA and CDC.
