One Star is my only option. They deserve nothing. Our company uses secure checks with water marks and halo grams. On June 18th, 2019 our accountant noticed a fraudulent check cashed from and International company, GSS hair in the amount $3,850.00. The check cashed by TCF bank was obviously manufactured and the signature forged or copied. TCF Bank Security Dept said that it was our fault because we did not notice the fraudulent check until it was already paid and that we should have noticed it sooner. On July 2nd, 2019 we noticed 2 more fraudulent checks cashed for $9,185.00 and $9,120.00 respectively by Allianz Cargo and Logistics. The check cashed by TCF bank was obviously manufactured and the signature forged or copied. Balwierz at 2128 S Mannheim Westchester said that she would keep an eye on the account and notify us if any more fraudulent checks from GSS Hair were attempted to be cashed and on July 2nd, 2019 she said that they would not cash any checks made out to Allianz Cargo and Logistics.At no time did Marta Balwierz say they we “must close the account. She understood we had a lot of outstanding checks out there and she assuresd us we would be ok because she would personally watch for suspicious checks.To sum it up, The “BIG BANK screwed our small business our $40,000.00 Dollars which could put us out of business. A bank is suppose to be a safe haven for our money. TCF Bank proved our money is not safe in their bank. Anybody can make up a fake check, deposit it in JP Morgan or Wells Fargo. TCF will pay the fraudulent check to the thief who created the check and blame the small business and not pay their mistake. Avoid TCF Bank like a the plague. Your money is not safe in their bank. I would like to hear from anybody else who got screwed by TCF.

The customer service is horrendous. Dealing with the representatives is exasperating. I had the opportunity to speak with a very rude,arrogant and not so knowledgeable (Xavier) in the Corporate Customer Service Department. After lying to me stating he was the highest level of management in the corporate office. I saw another complaint about him online in which he is identified as a "Customer Service Specialist". The he attempted to give me legal advice on how to handle my accounts after I spent two hours at a branch where they lost my paperwork. But then admitted he is not an Attorney. All in response to my inquiry as to why my documents and filed concerns have not been addressed.

Paid $600 then claimed there was a problem with IRS. So I had to pay 300$more now it was a accident so I have to pay 300$ more I say it's a scam

My check was "put on hold for 10 days" (without my knowledge or reasonable explanation ) the bank cleared check much earlier and kept/use my money for their own benefit , before they allowed me to use my money. If I knew about this 'procedure" of TCF bank when i posted my check, I would use a different bank to cash my check; So I will do it in the future;

Closed our account without even telling us before they closed it. Said it takes 90 days to put a stop payment on a check because that's the law in MN. My advice is to stay far, far away from this horrible bank. They promise quite a bit, but can't live up to their promises. If they fix this, I will remove this. Don't expect them to fix this, so look forward to posting about this horrible bank, awful customer service ( on hold for 22 minutes today to get into the customer service line), and crappy hours they are actually open to "serve' their customers. They close at 5pm m-Fri... How is this looking out for your customers? Will post this on every site I can until this is resolved...

I have experience the worse customer service ever, from there call centers and floor leads. It was a perfect experience.. Until i was lied to.. About my funds. I don't have overdraft but my account was overdraft for .98cent and they are holding my funds and charging me, which will be cause of me defaulting!! So I'm totally done with these LairsP.S T.D.C. Totally Done Checking
