I am one of the Ambassador Partners at The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. I have been an Ambassador for 2 or 3 years. As a representative being apart of the chamber means having a lot of networking opportunities to get in front of. My overall experience, personally, has been wonderful, I often make the effort to attend a lot of the events to be there as an ambassador and put my self out there to the new members letting them know that they can call me. It has been great collaborative relationship, where I support a lot of the new people and get the word out about the business.

Overall I have had a very good experience with The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. I think we have a very engaged chamber, and that is not just speaking on the board side, I think we have a great group of people. They do great things for the community and provide a great service for its members. I attend and participate in several events such as the planning retreat, Annual membership drive and Chamber Lunch Ins. We even have hosted some of the Lunch Ins. I highly recommend The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.

The Sarasota Chamber is a great investment for new business owners that want to improve their networking and for members of the community that to connect with business professionals. In just a few months, I have found a excellent golf instructor as well as new clients of my own. Naturally, chamber membership is what you make of it and if you want to get the benenfits, you have to invest time and money in getting to know the other members and giving them your business. As a new business owner and resident of Sarasota, I have found chamber membership to be the perfect place to start networking in the community!
