The service from this bank is going to the dogs! No one answers the phone, long waits, and some answering company tries to assist and they are abysmal. Time to change the Credit Union.

Mind numbing....so many problems with their debit card.....if go some where and buy something and it's not the usual zipcode...if you don't answer the phone your card is deactivated....happened new years eve...beyond aggravating..it's like a bank...but not quite...be real careful if you travel

I've never had a bad experience with this credit union; customer service is quick & supportive when needing card assistance & services are always online. When debit card was used for fraudulent charges, they immediately responded by locking the card & notifying me then walking through the process of expiring the old card to issue a new one.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy I was in a serious accident the put me down for months I still paid my note late but I paid I was down in out and caught up to my payments and they tried to hit with all these outrageous fees never sent a letter or anything I called several times no reply

So many bad reviews about UTF. I actually also have to give this credit union a bad review but with one notable exception...I applied here for a car loan a year ago. Met with Tatiana at the Tinton Falls branch. I have to say, Tatiana was a joy to work with and getting the loan was pretty effortless. Even when I forgot to pay one month's loan payment, there was enough of a "window" for me to submit payment without my credit score being affected.So, for working with Tatiana and her efforts, I rate my experience very high.However...Getting through on the phone is impossilbe. If you need to call anyone at this branch, don't expect to get through. Instead, you will be going through multiple voice prompts and then waiting for minutes on end while advertisements are played to you. I was at a car dealership applying for financing and trying to get the payoff amount from UTF. The dealer and I, separately, could not get through on the phone. I ended up having to leave the dealership and drive to the UTF office to speak with someone. Thank God it was only right around the corner.UTF must do something to fix the phone situation. Customers should not have to wade through voice prompts and endless advertisements to get through to a live representative.

Terrible, terrible service. Don’t ever sign up for this card. Checks get lost and then you get hit with a late fee! I sent a check in TWO WEEKS before it was even due and it was only going from N.J. to PA. Well turns out, they kept it and didn’t process it until the day after my due date! & guess what?! I got hit with another late fee! They are scumbags and purposely do things to make you pay more money! Don’t ever fall into this scam of a company.

Went out of my way to do my first Google review to let everyone know how bad this place is. Automatic payments cannot be wired, checks get lost, no one at the bank can answer any questions, get the runaround on the phone. Our credit card only works half of the time despite our payments being on time. I would give zero stars if I could. Moving our business's banking elsewhere as soon as the new year hits to avoid ever dealing with them again.
