I submitted an online application for a checking account and they needed me to come in and bring documentation for address verification as we had just moved and closed on a house. Went into this branch and stood in line. Told to sit and wait while a loan officer helped another man that had come in after me. After that man and his father left he continued to take phone calls while I just sat there. Another woman sat in her office on a computer while I was sitting there waiting. I finally got up and left after 15 minutes. Awful customer service.

So I bank at a credit union and I needed to make a deposit. I'm driving and I see this Credit Union and pull through the drive-up window. I speak with the teller and let her know I need to make a deposit and she replies "...unfortunately 'Credit Union' is just in our name we're NOT actually a part of the credit union or the CO-OP network so I cannot help you make a deposit. If you want to go down the road to America first they are a credit union that can help you." Mouth agape and utterly Speechless I left.

As others have said they are NOT part of any credit union co-op network so they are completely useless and RUDE! They don't want to deal with you or even sell you a money order unless you have an account. TRASH!

Husband and I used a them for a car loan. We purchased the truck out of state and we were told the check was sent in the mail last week and the dealership should get it the following Monday. Monday shows up and there is no check. We call to figure out where our check is... they never returned any of our phone calls. My husband went in on Wednesday, and come to find out the bank never sent the check last week. They had sent it on Monday. They used priority mail, 5-7 day shipping. We won't be able to ship our truck out until next week. VERY VERY VERY disappointed with their service. It would have been faster for us to send the check ourselves. Very irritated that they drug their feet for no reason. All the paperwork was completed for dealer and seller. Very frustrating.

I had gone into the Draper location to do a simple transaction. Well, what I thought was simple. I ended up being passed onto the branch manager, her name was Veronica Legaspy. She was utterly rude and spiteful as I expressed my frustrations as I was intending to do a simple deposit. As I was walking out of the Draper location, I had overheard this woman talking to her employees about how I was making a "big deal" out of nothing and continuing to express some over the top feelings she had about me. Due to poor customer service and the amount of unprofessional ism I have experienced at this location, I will no longer be banking with them. I would advise future members to be aware of the non-sense that is considered "professional" here. They are so called "member service" based but I have received just the opposite. I walked away feeling disrespected, undervalued, and ridiculed for expressing my frustrations. Again, University Credit Union does not value their members and their member's experience.

If I could put this at zero I would- this location had a loan officer that goes by "M" be disrespectful on the phone followed by leaving the phone off the hook and making rude comments. This team is unprofessional. I've been banking with this company for over 12yrs and will now be looking else where for my banking needs. Would not no longer recommend University Federal Credit Union!
