Everyone at Upstate Mortgage was great. We primarily dealt with Pete and he kept us in the loop at all times. He answered all our questions quickly and clearly the first time. Communication was great. We knew exactly what was happening at every step and weren't surprised with any extra costs when we closed. His original calculations from when we signed our contract on close date was within 2 days and mortgage payment was actually lower than expected.

If i could give this place zero stars i would. We left our first time home buying in their hands and we got screwed over because they never submitted our application to lock in the interest rate after we signed documentation. Now he is trying to cover his own ass by saying we never gave him the go ahead....well then why would we sign a document and give it to you if he we didnt want to go ahead with the deal? He didnt do his job and look out for the best deal for us so we went with another broker that actually got the ball rolling.

My wife and I were connected with Petar after having our online lender fall through right when it was time to commit. We were in the middle of the closing process and it came to a halt. Deb O'Leary is without a doubt, the best mortgage professional I have ever dealt with. From the start, Deb looked out for my best interests and paid great attention to detail. She answered any and all of my questions in a timely fashion and was always very upbeat and friendly. Getting a mortgage in this day and age is a stressful, sometimes painfully aggravating process but Deb saw me through. She maid sure that I didn't give up and she was the reason I was able to purchase my beautiful new home. Thank you to Deb and the team at Upstate for their hard work.
