liars- had a 7 year on and off title loan with them, the other day i get a letter from them saying i was pre approved for a signature loan for 1200 because of my great history with them. just bring in the letter and the loan will be approved. all i have to do is pay them back 120 a month. no fine print saying anything other than your approved. called the manager - art - whom i have know for years there, and he said just bring in the letter and we will get started and you will have your check by five the next night if i come in by noon. so i go there. i have to pay off existing title loan first. understand that and thats ok. so i withdraw 500 from my savings thinking i will put it right back when i get the new loan. then the run around starts. not only did i not hear back from them by a certain time i had to keep calling them back. then art wasnt there to take my call and the lady said he will call you when he gets in. he never did. then they said the office closed at four when they told me to call back at five so i wouldnt hear till the next day. so i call again today. no word back from them yet buy they would call me. again i had to call them back after not hearing from them. i was denied they said when i finally called a third time. because my income comes from a source like a pension or social security type of income (not welfare) and said they could not approve me because if i default on the loan-again didnt the past 7 years with them- they cant garnish this account. sadly in the past i have had my checking account garnished so why is this an issue now if i defaulted. besides i have been good and paying bills on time and my credit score is going up as a result of paying bills on time and not becoming past due. ok so why the hell did you tell me i was going to be approved. why did art tell me i was going to be approved. why the hell did the other co worker tell me i was going to be approved and told me i only had to give them my name and phone number on the app because i had been a long time customer and would be approved. i am so pissed off at myself for trusting these morons. i am out the money i was saving to move on this summer because i was told id be approved and was going to put the loan in my account to save. the only good thing about all this is that now that the other title loan is paid off i will never have to see that place ever again
