Tried selling some gold. Older man out of 3, asked for his name and was told it’s Rob, helped me out. Took the ring and came back and told me “You’re looking at $40.” I asked for the weight he had gotten off the scale and he told me 3.2g. I then asked what the price was for 10k gold because they didn’t have the prices displayed on the TV. He got angry and told me that wasn’t wasting any time on such a small thing, I tried asking again and he told me not to worry about it. See, I had weighted the ring before I went to sell it and knew that it was about 3.289g and the price they were offering on their website was about $16.35, that would have given me a pay out of $53.77. I got this confirmed by going to London Gold Buyer on Highbury, they gave me exactly $54. So don’t go to this place as they will try to professionally steal what you own. He was underpaying my $14. Anyways, he must’ve thought I needed the cash badly like that person before me.
