I feel so stupid I feel like I'm being scammed. I started the program 10 months ago saying I would just have to make payments each month and would only have to pay off a fraction of the debt I had. What they dont tell you is that your credit score would plummet 200+ points and as a new homeowner you wouldn't be able to apply for anything ie cable or internet. After 9 on time in full payments they call me 1 week before my supposed last paymnet saying the last account, the biggest account didnt settle for what they expected and i would have to make 6 more payments, that's 6 more months of low credit score. And the worse thing is I have no idea if the last 6 payment are legitimate or if they are making it up, they say if I dont agree it would become a lawsuit and I would have to end up paying more. How is this ok?
