Feedback:

We went through Treadstone at the advice of our realtor, but we were also pretty ignorant to other options and Treadstone had high positive reviews. The experience started out well and then they seemed very disorganized. They kept asking for documents that we had already provided saying that was all that was needed to move forward. After said documents were provided, they would tell us that they were waiting on other documents which they had never communicated that they needed; this happened several times. In the end we got everything done, but they added a lot of stress to the already stressful, albeit exciting, experience of buying a home. This was years ago and we recently refinanced through Chase and it was maybe the easiest thing ever, at least it seemed that way after the Treadstone ordeal. My wife and I were content to let it go as an anomaly until our friends, who bought a house recently, were telling us about their negative experience with their lending company (getting closing cost amounts and loan amounts wrong! luckily our friends noticed and said something)... only to find out that it, too, was Treadstone. Too many good reviews for this kind of inconsistency.
