Feedback:
I was happy driving my 54 plate fiat punto for six years also Debt free now I’m Not happy after getting my new car yeah you would think it’s the other way around.. Santander have treated me very bad they even had my Lloyd’s bank account I’ve had for 18 years shut down which had a hundred pounds of my benefit money in.. I’ve always kept in contact with these guys every time I’ve called I always speak to somebody different now tell me how they can deal with you in a private matter it’s a complete joke I took my agreement out in may 2017 by September 2017 I was left homeless jobless very depressed and worried now I’ve returned to work they want to reposess my wheels anyone know how I can stop this? ... I think getting the car was a nightmare in the first place tyres all corroded driving it around wtih the radiator fan constantly going for two weeks not bad for a 12 plate Mercedes that I worked my arse to get .. black listing me was a big mistake next I’ll be contacting the financial ombudsman I’m sick of the stress and worry this has caused me

I bought a car on finance with Santander and everything seemed fine for a week. My reason for returning to the dealer was because the start/stop had never worked. They sent me away as they didn't want anything to do with me, so I turned to Santander. They kindly offered to pay BMW £100 to health check the car which uncovered a faulty turbo, battery, fuel heater, start/stop, rear suspension, headlamp and two very worn tyres. How this car passed an MOT before I bought it I'll never know. The car had also been up for recall since 2011 due to the risk of a fire in the engine bay, yet I wasn't told about this by the dealer. Almost a year later, after eventually having to turn to a Financial Ombudsman the turbo, battery and fuel heater has been replaced and the start/stop has been fixed. However I paid for an MOT at the time of the repairs because I knew the suspension and headlamp would be an issue and not to my surprise, the car failed it's MOT and needs all new rear suspension, a headlamp and a tyre. I'm now having to ask Santander to pay for this. I've been paying £136.78 per month and I've not been able to use the car. I'm still awaiting compensation of £286.78, which doesn't cover my losses at all, but it's something. Lets hope Santander agree to pay for my suspension and headlight as it was brought up by BMW in July last year when my car was within warranty. It's a shame that I'm giving a 1 star review because Santander didn't sell me the car, but they have taken a very long time to get half of my car repaired. The car could have simply been returned to the dodgy dealer who sold it to me and I would have walked away thousands of pounds down. Instead Santander are having to pay out far more than I paid for the car to make it roadworthy.

Please take my advice and don't use this company.Everything was going fine and then I moved bank accounts. The sort code and bank account worked with everyone else but not them. Instead they called me and indicated that the bank details I had provided had not worked that it would damage my credit rating and that this in turn was my fault. They also indicated that they would not remove the late fee despite it being the first time that I had been late and in fairness it was a hard one to spot that a bank account I had that worked for everyone else setting up a DD would not work for them.I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and they said yes but not for another 2 hours. I then got put on the system for a call back within 2 hours but did not receive a call. Therefore it's back to the start. A valid bank account that I cannot use with them, a damaged credit reference and not exactly sure how to progress. I suppose the easiest thing would be to set up a standing order and turn a blind eye to the late fees and damaged credit reference rather than waste anymore time on it but in summary avoid.

I hope to never deal with them again, by far the worse company i have ever come across, customer services... what customer services they have no idea how to treat a customer fairly, they just pass everything onto there third party and send threatening letters to your address regardless of the fact you had already explained your situation to santander.rediculour APR intrest, it atleast doubled the price of the vehicle brought.avoid seriously avoid because once you have signed you will have a lifetime of hell from them
Feedback:
Very unprofessional. After paying 7000 Into a 25000 agreement. I fell into arrears for 400. They gave me an agreement due to start on the 1st of September to clear up 400 pounds, by installing 100 a month. On the 7th of augast they cancelled my agreement for being 2 days late on a monthly payment. Very harsh company with hormonal staff that are very rude and unhelpful. They cancelled my agreement after being 7,000 pound paid into a 24,000 pound agreement. I even called to pay off the arrears in full and they still persisted to attempt to land me in debt by cancelling and agreement. Stay way from these moraless crooks .

Had issues with brand new static caravan, this company wouldn't take responsibility to get things fixed. Me my partner and 2 young daughters spent 18 months sleeping in one bedroom, due to excessive mould in the other one. I told them they could stick the caravan. Their reply was, you'll have to still pay for it. Ended up winning a financial ombudsman case. And getting money back. Giving back the caravan. I will never use this company again.
Feedback:

Feedback:
A really awful company. There was some strange DD issue with my account that doesn't happen with other companies but for some reason they could not set up a DD with my valid bank account.I find this company so abhorrent and unpleasant to deal with that I decided to just pay the car off than have to deal with their incompetence and arrogance. I agree with previous 1 star contributors, STAY WELL CLEAR.
