Feedback:

Avoid! Terrible service, 45min waits on the phone when you need help. Invoices are vague with most charges classed as 'miscellaneous' resulting in you having to call the helpline to find out wait the latest charge is for. Expensive to process card payments as well, expect many hidden charges. Look elsewhere!

Feedback:

Was sold an account, and then tried to set up my websites. After 3 days of emails back and forward between at least 3 people and phone calls decided to give up. It's beyond me how a company like this can exist today with such a painful service. I cancelled before i managed to get anything set up and looking at all these negative reviews it looks like everyone else is in the same boat.

Feedback:

Terrible wordplay very bad experience in my life they are really cheater and joke completely fraud people making a lot as hidden they promised so many but not actually they do be aware !

Feedback:

Terrible company to try and deal with. They seem top be run by robots who can not actually do anything so when the computer says no that's it. You will not get a reason nor a why and they will not be able help you. My website is made on the Wix platform and you can only use certain payment providers so when they pull the plug on you they are killing your business.

BEWARE BUSINESSES WORLDPAY WITHHOLD/STEAL YOUR FUNDS.

Feedback:

Well where do I start... Avoid at all costs very unprofessional company! Extremely offended with the service provided by World Pay especially Samantha and Gareth that both work on Transaction monitoring. I own a legitimate retail and wholesale company that provide luxury garments to the public with 100's of reviews and has been a family business for 20+ years. I placed a transaction through my machine for a large amount of 15k again we would do this as we are a retail and wholesale company! I then had a call from a very rude girl called Samantha who was asking me very odd questions treating me very much like a criminal and also being very offensive! With the exact words being ''You dont know anything about your business'' when in hindsight I don't feel like answering when being spoken to like a criminal. Second to this they blocked my account and asked for all paperwork and supply chain details, sanitized invoices the lot which is understandable to prove authenticity ect ect. Which we provided fully anything and everything which was asked for to the exact detail. The account then got referred to another gentlemen called Gareth which initially he was quite positive to get the account unblocked on first contact. After that he just ignored all phone calls and contact for over a week leaving us in limbo baring in mind we were still using their machine as we thought it would be unblocked... we are now 2 weeks in suppliers are chasing me for payment and WORLD PAY have over 20k of our money. With no response in regards to when I will be receiving the funds baring in mind the customer who made the original payment of the 15k has contacted World Pay to say the goods were fine and they payment was legitimate. So moral of the story is avoid at all costs as they will treat you like a criminal and hold your money even when you provide proofs that the money is legitimate... Paypal have agreed to have a new machine out to me by the end of this week :) Your loss World Pay!

Choose Worldpay if you would like a short lived business! What can you expect from them? In my opinion...to be a faceless nameless company which, quite frankly, does not care, despite them being solely responsible for almost crushing you and your business. Sounds dramatic doesn’t it? Amazing what a few admin errors can result in...We started a new Hospitality business 7 months ago and set up a contract with Worldpay to be our merchant services supplier. Worldpay set us up with 2 merchant numbers (fail #1) and one of these was not set up correctly with our bank details not added to it (fail #2) What did this mean? Our income was split through 2 channels - though we were only aware of one - and only one of these channels was dropping into our bank account. Worldpay was holding the rest. Every month we wondered what was going wrong. Every month the pressure grew and grew and we were unable to pay our greatest asset...staff. We lost 4 key members (we currently have 13), 3 directors took out loans to give us a basic level of cash flow and the directors also had to fill the positions of the 4 the business had lost. This was additional unpaid hours of around 30 per director per week. But we had no choice as we were battling to stay afloat. But it’s OK because unbeknown to us...and seemingly Worldpay as it turns out...a THIRD of our overall income had been accumulating in their accounts for 7 months. Good of them to keep it safe from us, though on reflection they probably should have given us a call at some point to let us know it was there, so we didn't have to reduce staff and almost kill ourselves in the process. Indeed we worked out eventually there was something wrong and after arguing with advisors for hours, in the end (we waited for a specific and significant deposit to land in our account and it didn’t) the money was found. So what now? Well 11 days later it’s still not in our account, as advisors keyed in wrong bank information (fail #3) but we believe it will land Monday. Maybe. Am sure our banks that we owe unpaid loans and mortgages to will be OK with that. Not a single apology, not an offer of compensation (despite charging us £250 a month in fees for keeping our money safe), no rational and no explanation in relation to what happens with our account(s??) going forward. World’s number one they may claim to be, but I hope this review helps if you are wondering who to choose.
